Good morning, Kentucky, and welcome back to wxornotBG. Pleasant temps throughout the week will be accompanied by sunshine today and showers on Thursday. I’ve got all the details below!
High pressure will settle in over the Commonwealth today and bring very nice weather. The high temperature should make its way into the mid-60s under sunny skies. There is no worry of rain today, so if you’ve got an outdoor quarantine activity you’ve been wanting to do with the family, today would be a great day.
Showers on Wednesday
Tomorrow will start off dry and reach an afternoon high temperature in the upper-60s. Towards the end of the day, our chances for rain will increase and stick around through the overnight hours and into Thursday. Although a light shower is possible earlier in the afternoon, measurable precipitation looks to hold off until later tomorrow.
Wednesday evening’s showers will stick around and cause a rainy Thursday. Even though it looks like rain will stick around all day, at least the temperatures will be nice in the upper-60s. By Friday morning, the WABBLES area could have nearly an inch of accumulated rainfall.
That concludes today’s post! Remember to practice social distancing and follow @wxornotBG on Twitter to stay updated on this week’s rain. Have a great Tuesday!
