Summer-Like Pattern Sets up Later this Week

Good morning and happy Monday folks, it’s crazy how fast this past weekend flew by with the start of the work week already upon us! The beginning of the work week looks fantastic, but a summer-like pattern sets up later this week.

I know it’s Monday, but you can make it through another week!  (Tenor Gifs)

Fantastic Start to the Week

We will start off on Monday with a beautiful forecast as a cooler and drier air mass settles into the Ohio River Valley, following the cold front that passed through the area last night. The forecast calls for pleasant conditions with plentiful sunshine and highs reaching the upper 70s.

Monday’s Weather Outlook (WPC)

Temperatures across the area on Monday night/early Tuesday morning will dip down into the middle 50s with mostly clear skies. Temperatures rebound heading into Tuesday as a high-pressure system sets up shop across the southeastern United States. The area of high-pressure will offer another dose of pleasant weather, with sunny skies and highs topping out in the lower 80s.

Can’t complain about Tuesday’s forecast!

Summer Returns

The weather pattern heading into the second half of the week looks… well, it looks toasty! The high-pressure system continues to meander and strengthen over the southeast, allowing plenty of warm air to build and settle in across the area.

High temperatures on Wednesday will rise into the upper 80s, can’t rule out a few spots across the area reaching the 90°F mark! A few pop-up showers and thunderstorms also can’t be ruled out heading into the afternoon hours, with otherwise mostly sunny skies.

Thursday’s and Friday’s forecast looks about the same, with highs soaring into the lower 90s. If you have any outdoor activities planned during the afternoon hours, please stay hydrated and try to stay in the shade as much as possible!
