We’ve seen a couple of days of heavier rain around the region and we’ve got another one to deal with. But the good news is that a rainy Saturday leads to a beautiful Easter.
Chilly and Soggy Saturday
We’re still dealing with this low pressure system sitting just to our north this morning.
This low will keep scattered showers around the area for much of our Saturday, before finally diminishing into the evening hours.
Things will stay cool, cloudy and windy, however. Much like yesterday, highs will only reach about 55º, with winds once again upwards of 15 MPH making for a bit of a breezy day as well.
Additional rainfall totals should be light but may be a touch heavier depending on whether or not you get under a heavier downpour.
Things begin to clear up overnight as low pressure finally gets on out of here. We fall to near 40º overnight.
An Easter to Make You Jump For Joy
How does a sunny day with above average temperatures sound?
High pressure to our south will take over and give us absolutely gorgeous weather for those Easter egg hunts.
Light southwesterly breezes will combine with sunny skies to warm us up to a high near 75º for an outstanding Easter afternoon…with more nice weather on the way. Overnight lows fall to about 50º or so.
New Week Starts Sunny
Things stay dry and warm to start our new work week as high pressure will stay in control, not just for Monday but Tuesday as well.
Highs to start the week look to remain appropriately mid for this time of year, nearing 80º both days with just a few fair weather afternoon clouds. Wonderful spring afternoon’s both.
Peering Into the Rest of the Week
Showers begin to re-enter the picture as we enter the middle and later stages of next week as temperatures try to stay warmer than average heading into next weekend.
