Last Cold Morning
Good morning south-central Kentucky, temperatures this morning will start near freezing under high pressure and mostly clear skies. This is a taste of quieter and warmer weather coming in the next few days.
Chilly but Dry Today
Our average high is 67, crazy right? After being 25 degrees below average yesterday with wind and snow, we are looking at highs in the low 50’s and no rain during the day with light winds. Just another spring day in Kentucky.
Slight Chance of Light Showers Tonight
Tonight there is a slight chance of showers, as in there may be few raindrops on your window when you wake up Monday. The low will be in the upper 30’s, so still pretty chilly.
After a cold, drizzly start, Monday’s high will warm up to near 60. It will also be pretty dry and not windy.
Lows Monday night hit the low 40’s, but this is the best day out of the next three, so I am giving it the thumbs up giphy.
Another Brief Cool Down Tuesday
Highs on Tuesday will reach the mid-50’s with little chance of rain as a high pressure system slings some colder air into our region. Lows on Tuesday night will drift close to freezing, so hold off on planting that garden until after then, overanxious Greenthumbs.
The good news is all indications point to a bigger warm up coming after Tuesday. Maybe winter will finally break like the ice beneath a penguin.
