Old man Winter has returned to the region this morning as widespread snow showers remain in place across the region. Remember that a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Butler and Edmonson Counties until 10 AM. A few slick spots will be possible, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.
The snow showers should gradually wane to flurries later this morning. Mostly cloudy skies will remain in place and a chilly day is in store across the region. Highs will only warm into the low to mid 40s. Don’t you love it??
A Freeze Warning is in effect for the entire region tonight. Lows will drop all the way into the mid 20s.
A nicer day is expected Sunday as high pressure moves into the region. Partly cloudy skies will likely increase to mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon while highs approach the upper 40s.
A slight chance of a couple showers or snow showers exist on Sunday night. Lows will drop into the mid 30s.
A warm front is expected to move through the region on Monday. This will lead to much warmer conditions as highs top out in the upper 50s under partly cloudy skies and southeast winds. Monday night lows will drop into the upper 30s.
