A chilly and wet weekend is currently forecast across the region. While most of Saturday will be dry, we’ll be stuck in the clouds as highs top out in the mid 50s. A few showers may be possible late overnight as lows drop into low 40s.
More wet weather is expected come Sunday. Low pressure will be to the south of the region, meaning we’ll see some chilly northeast winds. Once again highs will be limited to the mid 50s.
Snow Showers Sunday Night
A few snow showers will be possible Sunday night and into Monday morning as lows drop into the low 30s. Very little accumulation is expected as of now, though some of the snow could be heavy at times. We’ll need to continue to watch models as we draw closer to Sunday.
The Weather Prediction Center has highlighted most of the area in a 10% to 30% chance of at least 1″ of snow Sunday night and Monday morning, leading to a low confidence in significant accumulation.
Snow showers should give way to mostly sunny skies on Monday. However, temperatures will remain limited to the upper 40s, leading to a stretch of colder temperatures to start the week. Monday night lows will drop into the low 30s once again.
