Well…to start things off, we are under a Dense Fog Advisory until 9 am this morning. Just go ahead and check out the White Squirrel Weather Webcam over WKU…
So, take it easy if you have to get out there folks. The fog looks to hang around this morning until we get into stiff southerly flow in the warm sector of a developing weather system. This will help the fog to thin, and warm us into the mid 70s.
The breeze looks to strengthen as we head towards tomorrow and a cold front begins to approach the region. We should see gusts in the 25-30 mph range tomorrow afternoon.
This southwesterly flow should bring temps up into the upper 70s to around 80, despite plenty of cloud cover.
This will all come crashing down when a cold front brings rain showers, isolated storms and cold air on Monday morning. I don’t think we have to worry about severe weather with this, which is good.
Monday should see temps drop gradually, going from the 60s in the morning to the upper 50s in the evening. More clouds will hang around all day.
Today: Fog until mid morning, then partly sunny skies with highs around 74°F. Overnight, look for partly cloudy skies, with lows around 63°F.
Tomorrow: Partly sunny and breezy. Highs around 80°F. Overnight, look for increasing clouds, with rain late. Lows around 65°F.
Monday: Mostly cloudy, with intermittent rain. Highs around 65°F, falling to 58°F in the afternoon. Overnight, look for cloudy skies and showers. Lows around 55°F.
That just about does it for me! Thanks for checking into wxornotBG this morning, and be sure to follow @wxornotBG and @WKUweather on Twitter and like Landon Hampton on Facebook for the latest weather throughout the day. Have a great Saturday!
