High pressure will be to the east of the region on Thursday. This means weak southerly surface flow should develop. That, coupled with strong upper level ridging will lead to a warming trend. Expect mostly sunny skies with afternoon highs in the mid 70s. This is just ideal weather!
Mostly clear conditions should continue overnight as lows drop back in the mid to upper 40s.
Friday – Partly Cloudy – High 76° / Fri Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 50°
Weak southerly surface flow will continue into Friday. Thus, we’ll adjust temperatures up a few degrees and call it a good forecast. Partly cloudy skies should be in place across the region as highs top out in the mid to upper 70s.
Partly cloudy skies look to remain in place on Friday night. Lows will drop to around 50°.
A nice Saturday is on tap as well before our first chance of rain arrives on Sunday. A cold front will move Through early next week which should usher in another dose of the colder weather to the region. The European Model has below normal temperatures for much of the eastern US next Wednesday.
