Hot Weather Continues…Bleh

Today – Hot & Mostly Sunny – High 94° / Tonight – Mostly Clear – Low 75°

Today will be a rinse and repeat forecast of yesterday. Conditions may be a bit more muggy as more moisture is working into the region today. Under mostly sunny skies, highs should top out around 94°. Although with added humidity, it will feel more like 100°.

Mostly clear skies should remain in place overnight. Lows will drop to a mild 75°.

Thursday – Isolated PM Storms – High 90° / Thur Night – Isolated Storms – Low 74°

Thursday will remain hot. Afternoon highs should once again top out around 90°. It will once again be muggy because the moisture isn’t going anywhere for a while. A few afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible. However, these should remain fairly isolated.

Isolated storms may continue overnight due to a decaying complex of storms north of the region. Lows will drop to the mid 70s once more.

Friday – Showers & Storms Likely – High 87° / Fri Night – Isolated Storms – Low 70°

High pressure to the north of the region will push a frontal boundary south into the region early in the day on Friday. Thus, showers and storms will be likely throughout the day on Friday. Highs should still make it in the mid to upper 80s before the rain settles into the region. A few strong to severe storms can’t be ruled out and as such the Storm Prediction Center has placed our region in a “marginal” risk of severe weather.

Isolated storms may continue during the overnight hours as the frontal boundary stalls fairly close to the region. Lows will drop to around 70°.
