Well, you guessed it. That low pressure system that’s been annoying us recently is still going to annoy us today. This system is parked over the region today, but looks to move out of our area by the late evening to overnight hours. Again, I’m sure you’ve guessed it…we’re gonna have more rain today.

By tomorrow, another cold front will be approaching the region and moving through during the evening to overnight hours. Even with that cold front though, tomorrow still looks to be the nicest day we’ve had here recently – mostly sunny and near 90 degrees. It may be hot and kinda muggy, but at least we’ll see the sun!
The cold frontal passage on Friday night will leave our weekend weather absolutely superb with slightly cooler temperatures and less humidity!
What That Means For Us

We can expect rounds of showers and thunderstorms with localized heavy rain and strong winds, similar to yesterday, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. There looks to be a small round of showers and t-storms during the morning hours, and then more rounds during the afternoon and early evening. The SPC has placed our area in a marginal risk for severe weather today with heavy rain and some strong winds being the main threat. Definitely watch out for ponding on the roadways when traveling to and from work.
