Well, it is finally the weekend! We can all agree that is an exciting thing, especially a weekend with this kind of holiday. Personally, I love Easter. It is one of my favorite holidays of entire year, so you can anticipate that I am excited for tomorrow.
The weather today looks similar to the past few days. The ridge that has dominated our weather so much recently (our high yesterday was 89°F!!!) is gonna be on the way to our east, but shouldn’t relent in terms of temps. We look to see a nice southwesterly breeze across the region through much of today, likely pushing our temperatures back into the mid 80s.
By tomorrow, a low pressure system will have moved into the Great Lakes region, dragging a cold front through the region along with it. Temperatures will likely get into the mid and upper 70s ahead of this, providing the fuel for storms to fire during your Easter celebrations.
These storms look isolated in nature, and shouldn’t be severe either. That is the major plus side to that. And it will be warm outside, as well!
On Monday, a similar forecast is expected. The cold front will be pushing through the region, sparking off plenty of showers and storms. Timing is a bit tough right now, but we’ll nail that down over the next few days.
Highs on Monday should be a bit cooler than they have been recently, ending up in the lower 70s.
