I haven’t been this excited about a forecast in quite sometime. This timeframe is gonna get really good by this evening, and then look good even into the weekend. I am very, very excited about some of the temperatures that I am seeing in the guidance.
A cold front associated with a trough digging into the eastern US will approach us, and pass through the region this evening and into the overnight hours. This will usher in northerly winds, and drier air as well.
Before the front, highs will end up in the upper 80s. A few showers should form along and ahead of the cold front this evening, but nothing too widespread.
Overnight tonight, look for mostly cloudy skies, with lows falling into the low 70s. Tomorrow looks absolutely fantastic.
Dewpoints will be dropping throughout the day, and with northerly flow, temperatures won’t rise very much during the day across the region. And it will feel awesome outside.
Highs will end up in the lower 80s, with mostly cloudy skies in the morning giving way to partly cloudy skies by the afternoon. Be sure to enjoy the afternoon highs by getting outside and enjoying it!
Overnight tomorrow, look for mostly clear skies, with lows in the upper 50s. Friday looks to be the best day out of all of them.
Absolutely the best day. Weather day of the year, maybe? I don’t know. But with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s expected, you won’t get much better than Friday.
We’ll be under the full influence of the trough by that point, and that is what will keep our skies sunny, our temps cool and the air dry. Get hype, because it is very exciting.
Overnight on Friday, look for clear skies, with lows in the mid 50s.
The extended looks a bit worse than the short term, as we are looking at a strong ridge developing across the southeastern US sometime next week as the pattern continues to amplify. We will see where that sets up, but right now I think we may be on the northern/western fringe of the trough, which would help keep temps a bit lower than they would be otherwise.
