Real-Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:
Today 9/28 – Isolated Showers, Partly Cloudy – High 81º / Sun Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 60º
6am 62º – 9am 72º – 12pm 78º – 3pm 81º – 6pm 77º
Good morning, we are currently seeing temperatures in the lower 60s this morning under mostly cloudy skies. This thick cloud deck will move east over the next east over the next few hours and we can expect partly cloudy skies this morning and afternoon.
A very weak upper-level trough will move through our area today and this will bring the chance for a few isolated showers. The best chance for any showers will be this afternoon, although most of us will stay dry. Any locations that see any see rain should see less than 0.1″ of precipitation.
Otherwise, highs will reach the lower 80s this afternoon. As the trough axis moves over us overnight, expect shower activity to diminish this evening and lows to dip down near 60º under partly cloudy skies.
Monday – Partly Cloudy; Warm – High 82º / Mon Night – Mostly Clear; Cool – Low 59º
Upper-level flow will turn nearly zonal by tomorrow afternoon, resulting in another period of quiet weather. In addition to a lack of upper-level forcing, surface high pressure will take hold of the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys over the next few days.
Monday looks to be a beautiful day as we should see partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 80s. Mostly clear skies will help temperatures to drop into the upper 50s overnight.
Tuesday – Sunny; Warm – High 83º / Mon Night – Partly Cloudy; Cool – Low 58º
It doesn’t look like we will see much change to the forecast on Tuesday. Temperatures look to reach the lower 80s again under sunny skies. If you are a fan of days like this, we are in luck because this calm pattern looks to hold through Thursday.
Our next rain chances won’t be until the end of this work week, so be sure to get outside and enjoy the great weather this week. That’s all I’ve got for this morning, be sure to check out @WxOrNotBG and @WarrenCountyWX on Twitter for real-time weather updates.
